Saint + Sofia have launched their Blooming Collection for Spring / Summer 2021; it’s a fabulous colour palette for chic, must-have staples.
My own personal style is romantic and classic with a good dollop of ‘edge’ – what I mean by this is I love my items to have a tough hard-looking vibe, maybe that’s through the materials of leather or suede and sometimes it’s through embellishment like a chunky chain necklace or chunky soles to my footwear.
I have been a fan of Saint + Sofia since discovering their collection last year as part of an Instagram collaboration and I have since purchased many pieces for my AW19 wardrobe.
I love how their garments, particular the knitwear; always has something special, something different that makes it lovely to own, different from the normal basics that you would typically get on the highstreet.
I found watching their SS21 runway Blooming Collection show, I was nodding and loving pretty much most pieces as the models walked the runway; lots to choose from for all body shapes and the colour palette is idea for Spring lovers and for those that love a neutral vibe.
Whatever you do, however you choose to wear yours, always know you will look fabulous when worn with black chunky boots and a biker jacket – the daily uniform that’s not going anywhere any time soon!
If you are looking to refresh your utility jacket – this one is gorgeous! With endless opportunities to embellish it with brooches and patches.
I am loving the blush tones throughout the entire Blooming collection.
Metallic gold is perfect for summer ahead – I find gold sandals go with everything and you can take them day-to-night (especially on holiday)
There is something about zesty yellow tones in knitwear; they are great over floral dresses from previous years for an updated look for the season ahead
“Winter has ended, may the summer last forever. It’s time for us to bloom.”
Saint + Sofia
For those that want to stick to their monochrome vibe, this has my name all over it!
If you are craving to get back to tailoring, I think this is a great hybrid from the ‘off-duty’ home styling to venturing back with ease – perfect with jeans, shorts or over dresses.
If you prefer a chunky sole, Saint + Sofia have taken the blush tone into footwear
And lastly, I must give a shoutout to the Mmaa Social baskets, these are handwoven using ancestral techniques passed down through the generations by members of the Mmaa Social collective. ‘Mmaa’ means mother in the local dialect. One of Saint + Sofia’s initiatives to support artisans and their communities around the world.
