Zebra print is hot this Spring, you’ll see it in all kinds of garments and accessories. I personally love going bold with print and so this River Island dress that’s currently trending is the perfect dress to add to your Spring wardrobe.
What I particularly love about this zebra print dress is its feminine line with delicate frills; the slight puff sleeves also gives a nod to another Spring trend. The open neckline just makes it lighter than a winter dress and once you start tanning you’ll be able to show off your colour.
Styled here with an edgy-dramatic feel for an evening look – I’ve teamed it with a wide black belt to really enhance the waistline (if you are hourglass I highly recommend this, and if you are not then opt for no belt and let it flow). The net tights plus the high heels elevates the entire look, heels are a must in my books, especially if you are out-out.
For a dress down daytime vibe – you can wear it with the material belt that comes with it, add black opaque tights and wide-heeled ankle (or long) black boots, plus a large black tote bag (I would keep the bag quite plain and let the dress do all the talking).
Alternatively if it’s still a little nippy then I would add an oversized black polo jumper to completely cover up the top half and some chunky studded boots, this time adding a crossbody smaller bag.

Now if monochrome is not your style and you would prefer a little colour – it’s not quite animal print, but I spotted this in the windows of River Island at Westgate Shopping centre in Oxford yesterday and it just caught my eye! I love the pink vibe, it’s so so pretty. I’d personally be tempted to wear this to a wedding, special occasion or date night. It’s got such a sassy appeal.
