The new season bags at Saint + Sofia have dropped; I use their bags week in, week out, so I was delighted to try some of the new SS23 designs.
Before I jump into some of the fabulous new designs, I want to talk about the ‘why I love them’ – Saint + Sofia London has been a brand I have invested in for many years. They are online and their pieces are wearable, everyday items that I have been able to use for the office, for weekends and also for travel.
The quilted cream tote bag that you see above I have used for all of the three categories I have just mentioned. It often comes to work with me when I need to carry many items. I love the crossbody and the quilted design with the stripe details; it just feels modern and edgy – it gives a contemporary vibe to a laptop case, which has been another purpose I have used it for.
The other bag that I have used week in, week out for nearly two years, it the Bottle Bag. Originally I purchased this for the office only to carry around my two phones and my drinking bottle – so that I always had them together. The reality is, it’s more my weekend bag when I don’t want to carry many items.
I spend a lot of my weekends and short breaks dog-walking for many miles, pub-lunching with hubby and just generally I don’t really want to be ‘carrying a bag’ – this has been the most useful companion to take on these trips. It keeps everything in place and it’s so slimline it tend to hang just at the side of me. It often heads into London when (again) I just want to carry the very minimal amount of items – the drawstring feature gives me great comfort to know people can’t just pop their hand in!

So let’s continue with the drawstring feature, it was knowing just how much I love this design element, that made me want to test Saint + Sofia’s Henley small bucket bag; that plus it looks like a fab alternative (and way more affordable) Chanel bucket bag. I’m not kidding, google Chanel bucket bag and look at the images; this gorgeous quilted bags really gives off similar vibes – which makes me VERY HAPPY!
Her debut outing was a trip into London to meet a dear friend at Harrods for a treat in the Prada Cafe. She looked stunning on my car seat as I drove in, she was fab to wear on the tube as I travelled across the city. She’s comfy to wear crossbody and given her designer vibes, I had her placed where I could show her off!
Easy to use, easy to wear and and super easy to get to my items quickly – she is going to be a go-to bag for sure for many trips shopping.

New Season ‘The Runway Handbag”
I’ve not yet had the chance to take the Runway handbag, this fab canvas style handbag with leather trimmings, out-out yet; one though I can’t wait to take on holiday with me. Given the colour of brown/black she will be a versatile bag that will go with many outfits.
If you personally prefer colour, then don’t worry – she comes in this fab pyramid design in blue, green or grey. And if the Pyramid design is not for you, but you love the shape, Saint + Sofia have also produced her in an all-black design – so chic.
The chain detail is optional, so this gives you a great day-to-night function, especially on a city break, when you want to take less, but elevate your look for the evening – I think this is a fabulous feature!
