Summer sandals you want to own this season 2022

Summer sandals for 2022 are seriously exciting! Sandal season has hit and you are going to love the selection I have for you!

Footwear for me the last few seasons have really added some edge to my daily outfits. The chunky soles, the sold metal details, all add to the overall look.

You can get so many different types of sandals and if you find a favourite, well it just gets better – the options of colours and textures are endless!

I myself, this year have bought the same type in two different colours, brown then black – I loved the first pair the moment I wore them out for the first time, that I thought instantly, I need these in every colour! And, if had the oxblood colour had been available in store on my second shopping trip, I think they would have been bought too!

Now let’s talk about ‘the Dad sandals’ trend, second summer for these.  #funfact My dad did actually wear this type of sandal in summer so I do have a little chuckle to myself that I’m now wearing them.

They are marmite – you either love them or dislike them, but I think if you wear ‘wide’ clothing on your bottom half, like wide-leg jeans, culottes or full skirts – they really balance the overall silhouette for a modern stylish look.

Black are a heavy colour to wear, so if you want to try them and perhaps not have them so obvious – opt for a cream they will appear far more dainty.  I’ve been lucky, I got mine last year and they are serious contender for the Chanel dupes, sadly no longer available but you can still get them from Dune London, bigger bonus too…. they are now in the sale!

Talking of sales, this is the perfect time to invest. The June sales have kicked in and many that I am about to show you, are on sale or the brands are offering discount if you sign up to email – so do what you can to avoid paying full price!

These are the ones I got… and once I returned from holiday I bought the black!

These are the Dune London ones, they are a dupe of my highstreet which in turn is the dupe of the designer, Chanel.
