I have a bookcase full of style books and I thought I would share some of my favourites. Style books don’t tend to date and if they do, it’s actually nice to take a look back.
Over the years my collection has grown… if someone doesn’t know what to buy me then this is always a welcome delight – only a few times I have had duplications, but on the whole the diversity you get now is lovely and it’s also the one thing I buy for myself when I visit a fashion exhibition.
Ask my fashion friend Martine; we both invested in the very heavy Christian Dior exhibition book when we were in Paris, November 2017 – with our tiny carry on suitcases, we did struggle to cram it in and drag (not roll!) our suitcases back towards the Eurostar – but well worth it! The exhibition too.

Fabulous list Lizzie. I listened to Andrea Shulman narrating her diary of Vogue’s 100th Year on Audible and it was a great listen. I’m definitely going to be purchasing a couple more on your list!
I’d also add Iris Apfel The Accidental Icon to this list. x

Thank you Carol, oh I’ve not tried looked at Iris’ – although I loved her film documentary – I have more (LOL) – but the blogpost will have gone on forever!
Will check that book out… and do a round 2 in a few months xx
