One chiffon dress three ways – late summer styling made easy with one dress and three looks for an easy stylish look.
It’s that time of year where it’s very mixed weather… do you wear a jacket?…. definitely not in the mood to reach for the tights. You can feel very confused when dressing first thing in the morning – how is the day actually going to be?!
Warm Autumn days calls for late summer styling, and a few ways you can get a little more wear out of shorter chiffon dresses that you may have. I’ve got work, off-duty and date night in mind.
And if you are lucky enough to be heading away for a weekend break, this is the perfect styling post to get you covering many looks when maybe you can’t pack that much.
And the one thing I love most about a chiffon dress… they don’t crease – so they are a great choice for taking a day look to night, as the dress will not look tired as the day goes on – you just need to switch up your accessories for quick and easy styling.
One chiffon dress three ways… coming up.
Working 9-to-5
As we are heading back into the office…. mine is a little cold compared to my home. If your chiffon dress is a tad short to meet the dress code requirements of a professional – then why not add tailored slimline tapered trousers that tone in with the colour of your dress – keeps you warm and covered and yet it looks like you made great effort that morning… when actually they are easier to put on than tights!
And if you are heading out for drinks straight from work – add a jacket… remove the trousers plus a little lippy and you are pretty much there.

I’m off-duty!
When is off-duty these days? It’s all still a little muddled, but I think we are all in the camp that we’re over joggers and gym wear all day! Get your dresses on, add a shacket, like army or denim, plus your favourite trainers and head out for brunch, the shops or just a meet up in a park with friends.

It’s time to party… like it’s 2021!
We need to get our heads out of this boring 2020 year – start thinking ahead to the new year. If you get a chance to get out, take it! Get those heels on, big earrings and bold lippy! It’s time to have fun again. With your jacket either drape or scrunch up the sleeves to show off a little arm candy.

Don’t pack your summer dresses away just yet – over the next few weeks there will be more Autumn styling coming up and you can get so much more wear out of them!
