Summer outfits – You don’t always have to buy new and some outfits don’t even need a refresh. Scroll through your social media or your photo album of Summer last year and find some favourite outfits of old and get wearing them again for this Summer season.
Loved them then, you’ll love them now!
Repeat, repeat, repeat – You might know it’s the same outfit but I can pretty much guarantee that your friends, family and work colleagues are unlikely to remember every single garment you own!
Summer in England doesn’t last long, just look at the rain we’ve had this week – so get wearing some of your favourites from last year before the season is over. It all counts to being more sustainable with your fashion choices.
Here’s a selection of outfits I’ll be wearing on repeat this Summer, all items I have had for while – they are easy to style and I never get bored of wearing them. I hope you find this inspirational for items you already own yourself.
THE SUMMER CO’ORD
When a hot day surprised me the other week, I instantly remembered this co’ord – I needed the flexibility of being stylish when I popped for lunch but later that day I needed jeans on for some errands – this outfit really is so versatile! Read more about it on ONE SUMMER CO-ORD ~ DAY-TO-NIGHT

YOUR FAVOURITE COLOUR IN A DRESS
For me this is red, but for you it can be any colour you pick for summer. This highstreet dress was a sale item I bought at £15.99 from New Look (if I remember correctly) and I am now in the third summer of wearing it and I love it!
You know you have a good dress when ladies stop and ask you in the street ‘Where you bought it’ and you feel awful as it’s not current season.
With this patterned dress, no styling is required at all – throw it on, add sandals, some jewellery and a summer bag and your done! It keeps me cool all day.

THE EASY JUMPSUIT
It’s in the title – you are looking for the most comfiest, lightweight jumpsuit you can wear all day and then add a few sparkly bits to it if you then head out for the evening.
Anything that has that day-to-night opportunity is a winner for me. I went back to Summer of 2019 for this photo.
I wore this jumpsuit on my holiday in Portugal; during the holiday week I first wore it out-out, then for lunch, then by the end of the week it was a beach cover up – And then I wouldn’t be surprised if I flew home it for extra comfort factor.
Wear it & wear it some more… avoid giving your garments categories like ‘for the office’, ‘for lunch’, ‘for the beach’ – by doing this you are applying limitations which restricts your wardrobe unnecessarily.

CAMISOLE X BLUE JEANS
This is one of my favourite summer outfits, and because of the lightweight cami, I can only wear it on warm summer days – unless I opt for a blazer, but them that covers the cami considerably.
I also like wearing blue jeans in summer – I still remember as a teenager the adults around me moaning ‘aren’t you hot in jeans‘ – I don’t care, I love the look, and that’s more important to me than perhaps some of the uncomfortable factors you may have to deal with.
It may not be a look for work, but this is certainly a fab option for drinks out, a brunch date or even date night with some heeled sandals and a clutch bag.

BACK TO BLACK
I’m a huge fan of wearing black; and summer is no exception.
If people say you’ll be hot in black, ignore, ignore, ignore them – it’s the most chicest look!
It’s all about the fabric and design of the garment so pick wisely…. I just love it for easy styling and one I will be doing a lot of this summer.
