Georgia by INYATI is a gorgeous faux leather handbag by fashion accessory brand, INYATI. After falling in love with Coco and showcasing just how easy she was to mix in with all my daily outfits, I just knew this is a brand I want to adopt more and more. And so between now and Christmas, I’m delighted to be reviewing four alternative handbags from their AW19 collection, this my third review, so don’t miss Inita or Viviana too!
WHY I PICKED Georgia
I’ve mentioned before that I am keen on totes for work; it appealed to me that this style of tote with the marble handle looked less ‘worky’ which meant that if I am dashing straight from the office to an event, then I wouldn’t feel like I would needed to swap my bag – saving me much needed time if I was in a rush.
Another attraction of Georgia is that she matches with Coco, mostly due to the marble handle – this meant that they would sit lovely together if I needed to be out with more than one bag, but then I discovered…
Georgia offers you two bags in one!
So how many bags does a girl need? Well a couple of years ago I wrote about the fact I am rarely without two bags, and whilst Georgia does match in with Coco, I’ve come to realise that Georgia offers this all on her own!
And I personally think there is an even bigger advantage than that with Georgia – this AW19 we’ve seen a big trend in ‘the pouch‘ – I’ve found that the inner pouch of Georgia enables you to do this too! Georgia is a multitalented bag; a tote, a crossbody, a pouch, the option of carrying them as one or if I need to… as two.
In this photo, I was heading into London on a rainy day, I needed to carry an umbrella, a notepad and a water bottle. I also knew that I would be gathering items too at the conference I was going to, so having Georgia with me, I could keep my important items safe in the crossbody-pouch and have the tote there ready for any other items I needed to carry.
WHY I PICKED BLACK
I nearly opted for Khaki, I deliberated for ages – but I wanted Georgia to match Coco, which I have in black. I also really love the Sand colour, I think this would be lovely for Spring.
You will see in the photo below, I often wear monochrome, a chic look that is typical of my style personality, so black it had to be!
THE FINER DETAILS OF Georgia
Georgia by INYATI comes in four colours – The light grey is perfect for those of you who have a cool skintone but find black too harsh, this is more a soft-muted colour and will go well with many classic looks. Khaki lends itself to those of you who typically have a wardrobe of ‘warm’ garments and Sand or Black I feel can flex between the two.
Georgia’s tote comes with INYATI branding in gold on the front, just like designer bags. The marble handles gives a premium feel to the overall look, and the tote has one open inner pouch – I often use this to put my mobile phone so that I have easy access. I prefer to carry the tote using the handles and have only used the long strap when carrying the pouch – but the bag is flexible to do both.
The pouch itself has gold metal details and fully zips up – can be used with or without the long strap. Inside there are no open or zipped compartments – the pouch whilst you can get plenty of items in, I’ve not had any bother finding my items due to no separate compartments. The pouch can be placed or fastened into the tote section.
