I discovered my first INYATI bag earlier this Spring, I fell in love with it at first sight. But what I truly found fascinating with this brand is just how much I thought it was real leather, to the point that I didn’t believe the point-of-sale tags stating it was vegan leather! As soon as I got home I started googling INYATI; to discover that not only was it truly faux leather, but that they offered a stylish range of different kinds of bags at what I feel are guilt-free price-points – and who doesn’t love that!

DO I NEED LEATHER?
It’s a question I’ve been asking myself a lot lately. I am not vegan or vegetarian but I do care about our environment.
My wardrobe has a mix of real and faux leather items and I can think of different reasons why I specifically opted for real leather; for example, I know with my biker jackets I prefer real leather to my faux options because it keeps me warmer – I don’t have to layer up as much or where something chunky to keep warm.
But when it comes to handbags, I am really fussy. If you asked me before I discovered INYATI – I would have said quite openly, my choice would always be real leather if I could afford it. Well I don’t have that same opinion now.
I’ve learnt that for me, I am all about the aesthetics of the bag and how premium it looks. I like it to feel like real leather, but I don’t actually care now with my INYATI bags that they’re not. I’ve even started to highlight intentionally to anyone who compliments my bag, that it’s faux and I wear it with pride (well usually swinging the bag as I walk, if I am truly honest!).

WHY I PICKED COCO
Don’t you think she is beautiful? I do.
I think it’s important to have a love for your accessories, as they say a lot about you. Coco offers me both a contemporary bracelet style of handle, the marble design tones in well with my love of pearls; plus she comes with a cross-body strap, a nice practical function should I be heading into London and want some added security.
The monochrome design offers a nod to this AW19 trends too. I feel she has a lot of attitude for a small bag – When she comes out with me, where I can, she has her own seat whilst I dine or I put her proudly on display on the table as I am drinking my coffee – she’s not one for the floor, the lap maybe, but never the floor!
And when I am out and about and have to be on my phone with a drink in the other hand, she has sat nicely on my arm without getting in the way. A bag that offers style and be hassle-free to hold just ticks all the boxes for me.

WHAT COCO OFFERS
Coco comes in six different colours with two designs of the bracelet handle. The cross-body strap is the same colour as the bag.
Inside she is a fully zipped bag, keeping all your items secure, with two decent size compartment areas; the back compartment having the addition zipped pocket area that fits your credit-card wallet and your driving licence ID, perfectly.
At 23cm wide, it fits my plus-size iPhone very easily (this I think is a huge bonus for a small bag) as I will make a thumbs up or down purely based on whether my phone fits!
Coco finishes off with a magnetic flap that secures the front and keeps it slimline as you wear it.
I’ve enjoyed using Coco and she will feature in future blogposts, she seems to go with a lot of my outfits effortlessly… so you will see her again, very soon.
This has been a collaboration post with INYATI, and as part of the collaboration they have gifted me this bag.
I would only publish content if I am truly happy with the product and I would only collaborate with Brands that I feel meets the standard of Loved By Lizzi values, for you.
