Now whilst I recognise that we are not going to rush out and buy a Bottega Veneta bag, I do think we should STOP, LOOK and ADMIRE the art of these gorgeous handbags.
Observing designer pieces; the craftsmanship that goes into every single detail, from the inside pouches, to the engravings on zip pulls to knowing that the softness of this leather will be second-to-none that you will find with non-designer leather handbags.
And it’s for this reason, I personally prefer to invest in premium faux leather handbags because if I was to spend on leather, then it needs to be the very best.
There will always be designer dupes, the highstreet lives off the styles created by designers – so we can all in our own way mimic the look.
But nothing, will ever be as good as the original design.
One to admire, one to save for… one to earn.
