Lilac this summer is so my colour choice! I’ve been quite vocal on my instastories just how much I am loving it! This week, I wore a lilac and red outfit and it was a hit with my followers on Instagram! I’ve popped the #ootd at the bottom of this post.
On Bank Holiday Monday I was perusing the internet checking out some new lilac summer pieces I’m thinking of investing in, and so I thought I would share my search with you.
When you love and want to invest in a new colour for your current wardrobe, you should consider adding new types of garments rather than adding more of the same items.
I already have a dress plus a bodysuit; and now I’m considering adding accessories to enhance say an all-black outfit or potentially some shoes to add a pop of colour.
Top tip: Avoid repeating, try expanding.
I hope you enjoy my affordable lilac summer edit.

WHAT I’M WEARING
Sadly apart from the heels, I don’t think any of this is now available to buy. My dress here is worn as a kimono, you can achieve this using any floral style shirt dress.
Red trousers are a few years old, I had them taken in when I lost my weight, as I loved the length and style so much. I’m still loving my quilted heeled mules, and I can’t wait to leave lockdown and where them out more, they go with everything!!
Lovely collection Lizzi . I’d already spotted the Boden dress but I love all the options 💜
