Now I am going to be honest, without the help of my wonderful ladies who take my photos…. I am pretty rubbish at doing a good job for jewellery. However, I am chuffed with my Instagram reel that showcases the four delightful pieces I got to try from the Simply Silver collection. I’ve never tagged in a Reel, so hopefully this will work, if not head to my Instagram to watch.

THE GOLD HOOP TREND
Every woman needs some great gold hoops in her jewellery collection and this spring it’s about wearing them hoop, after hoop, after hoop – depending on how many piercings you have.
If you have just the one, then I would opt for the larger hoop set.
What I particularly loved of the Simply Silver Large Tube Hoop Earrings, which are 14ct Gold Plated Sterling Silver, they are light. I think this is really important factor with larger hoop earrings.
With my Italian heritage I often think about my summers holidays with my senior aunties and one element I always remember is just how heavy earrings can impact your perfect little piercings. These are a classic style that won’t date and not too big to take over the rest of the jewellery, you wish to wear.
Simply Silver 14ct Gold Plated Sterling Silver Large Tube Hoop Earrings – £40, currently £32
If you have a second piercing, I would truly opt for these little chunky hoops, I spent a lot of time looking at the smaller hoops in the Simply Silver Collection, to see what I think would look right next to the 32mm larger ones.
In the past I’ve worn thinner hoops and it just hasn’t felt quite right, I found these Simply Silver Raw Edge Hoop Earrings, which are 14ct Gold Plated Sterling Silver, to be just the right balance.

“I have enough jewellery” – SAID NO ONE EVER
THE INITIAL TREND
Whether it’s a current trend or not, it’s one I love. I have always loved having my initials on jewellery. As a child it was E as I known as Elizabeth, and then when I hit my teens I insisted on Liz, just to annoy my parents and grandparents (although until the last couple of years, my English Grandmother insisted on Elizabeth – seems we are both stubborn!)
Over the years, depending on ‘how’ you know me and the levels of our friendship, it can be Elisa, Elly, Lillibet but for most… it’s Lizzi (sight random fact, strangers always seem to opt for Lisa if they are trying to guess!).
For me now with my own jewellery; the E’s remind me of my childhood and the L’s are of me as a woman.
That’s what is sooooo special about personalisation. It will mean so much if you choose to do it yourself or if you a recipient of a gift – it’s a bond that you won’t forget.
Simply Silver 14ct Gold Plated Sterling Silver Fluid Pear Drop Pendant Necklace – £45, currently £36
Personalisation is up to 3 letters and two styles of font. I opted for Romantic
It’s just not going away! With layering opt for fine delicate pieces and mix up the lengths. I found this Simply Silver Flat Bead Chain Necklace, in 14ct Gold Plated Sterling Silver, to sit perfectly with the Fluid Pear Drop Pendant Necklace.
