I’m truly in the mood for new season shopping; this selection of highstreet finds are my latest edits of highstreet hits for Spring.
There’s nothing quite like a few new pieces to add a little boost to your wardrobe (and if we are truly honest) with our mood too!
New season collections are landing both online and in store and I’ve already got a few either hanging in my wardrobe or on my list to keep an eye on to see if I truly want them to join my own curated edit.
With many brands making smaller drops more frequently, nowadays you have less time to decide on whether you are purchasing or not – don’t let the pressure of that make you shop faster, in fact what it should do is make you think, do I need it? Will it work for me?
It’s hard to think ahead sometimes when the weather isn’t quite right, but it’s the price fashionistas pay for being ahead of the game to get your cost-per-wear on track; plus a little smugness that once the weather does play ball you can flaunt your new season style whilst others are working out what it is they need!
HIGHSTREET HITS FOR SPRING
For those that love my Temperley London denim jacket that I bought last year, this is a gorgeous highstreet dupe – denim is a strong trend this Spring season, so one you’ll wear a lot! I’m already wearing mine to the office as an alternative blazer.
Sticking with denim, if you are not quite ready to make the plunge to a lighter denim blue, I do love a grey-black, especially for office wear or elevated weekend style. A cropped straight-leg is a modern cut for 2023.
This jumpsuit has just landed with me as a preview – Phase Eight continues to be one of my favourite brands for jumpsuits, in fact one of my all-time wardrobe hits is now a vintage Phase Eight black jumpsuit. I’ve had it over 20 years and I still wear it couple of times a month.
The cut of this jumpsuit is truly spot on if you are hourglass (and potentially pear shape) the wider sleeves will certainly add width to balance the hips. Definitely worth a try-on if your body shape is straight as there is no belt and this could naturally give you a waistline by the form of the stiffer fabric and the design overall.
More to come on this jumpsuit, but I was just too excited about it not to show you!
A HIGHSTREET DUPE
Those that have been lusting over the £3,620 Saint Laurent YSL ICARE maxi shopping bag in quilted black lambskin leather (or is that just me who has that on their style goals vision board?!). Well, I’ve found a possible dupe; as a fan of River Island bags, as I truly do believe they are exceptional quality for the price they are, here’s potentially a much cheaper option to dip your toe into the large tote bag trend.
You can never go wrong a with fresh new white shirt for Spring and I am currently loving Sezane’s latest collection; this white shirt is beautiful and I really like the relaxed fit, perfect to team with straight or wide-leg trousers or jeans.
Sticking with box-fresh white – it’s time to treat yourself to new tees. For this Spring I’ve headed to the men’s department in M&S – I’ve already purchased this white tee.
I can’t believe the value you are getting for the price (it’s cheaper than the women’s department) and I’ve sized up one site for a modern oversized fit. It’s going to be perfect under my blazers for office styling or elevated weekend styling.

I love knitwear. I think it’s one of my favourite types of clothing to wear, and I am currently in the mood for pink. Vita Grace is a brand I have showcased before, they have many fabulous new pieces landing and I am already checking them out for my summer holiday wardrobe. I’ve spotted this pink jumper and I think it’s just gorgeous!
Continuing with my highstreet hits for Spring and the mood for pink – I have spotted this shopping tote a few times… my local M&S have placed it right in the heart store so I can’t miss it… I am VERY TEMPTED.
Another gorgeous pink number is this top. One that you can easily wear to the office and head straight out to dinner! Or a fabulous options for a first date with some faux leather trousers. The options for this blouse are endless!
ELEVATED WORKWEAR
In the mood to step up your game in the office? You’ll be amazed what a few key items can do to transform your existing wardrobe.
Another little mini dupe coming up is this brown belt, you may have seen similar on social media from the designer brand Hermès… who are currently pushing their ‘quiet luxury’ design of their belts.
This one mimics their classic and it’s ideal to wear over your blazer to add a modern touch.
Monochrome is always a good option for work, and with the typical air-conditioning on in the office, avoid reaching for the hoodie… opt for this luxe looking cardigan – giving a touch of Chanel vibes!
If you are bored of trainers and still need to wear flats, these slingbacks will serve you well from now, to Spring and potentially throughout Summer too.
This is a coatigan – not to be confused with outerwear unless it’s a warm Spring day – this is a fabulous alternative to blazer for that luxe monochrome look.
I personally would avoid denim jeans and would wear it with ecru or black colours; faux leather or knitted fabric in either trousers or skirts.
A couple of more Spring knits to finish off with. White is always a chic option
Green is the colour for Spring and this highstreet hit from Phase Eight, is in a fine mohair knit; perfect for work, rest or play!
